For more than 21 years Finance For Trade and Investment has been responsible for helping SME businesses to unlock their growth potential. Today, we are recognized as one of the most trusted and respected alternative lending providers in the North. 

Over the past five years alone, Finance For Trade and Investment has provided £37 million of loans. The funding we have provided has helped to create more than 1400 new jobs with a further 1800 roles safeguarded, resulting in a net economic contribution of more than £140 million.

With offices in South Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire, we deliver a range of tailored lending packages, enabling SME businesses to access loans up to £250,000. Our loans help businesses to invest in new equipment, develop new products and services, as well as creating and safeguarding jobs within the local economy.

We believe in lending responsibly and ethically at all times. We act on behalf of the British Business Bank as fund manager on the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund; as a delivery partner of the Start Up Loans Programme and as a regulated lender under the Finance For Trade and Investment Guarantee scheme.
